Better Wind

Hi, I’m a 16 year old teenager, and I stumbled upon this site to ask a few questions. I have actually a good athletic build, no weight issues; but I do suffer from asthma. I decided sometime last week to start running 3 miles daily of the week, except Sunday for a rest day. (Today is Day 5). Will certainly doing this grab me in the shape I want to be in? On a edge note, Will certainly it make me faster as well? I run track for my school. (The 100m and 200m)
